Moldovan opposition announces creation of Pobeda political bloc

Among representatives are Governor of the autonomous Gagauzia region of Moldova Yevgenia Gutsul and parliamentary deputy Marina Tauber

MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. Representatives of a number of Moldovan opposition parties have announced the creation of the Pobeda political bloc in the lead-up to the election and referendum on the EU entry this fall in Moldova, the Moldovan politician, leader of the Sor Party Ilan Shor said at the opposition congress in Moscow.

"Today here, in this hall, we announce the creation of the Pobeda bloc," he said.

The country’s citizens see the lack of prospects of the line pursued by the current Moldovan authorities, the politician stressed. "It seems to us that it is about time to win. No one harbors any illusions regarding the current authorities in Moldova. They have proved with their own actions that their policy leads to catastrophe. The insane Eurointegration line is the road to nowhere for Moldova," Shor said.

The politician’s supporters stand for good neighborhood relations with all countries, for cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership ties with Russia, for strong family values and Moldova’s prosperity, he noted.

Among representatives are Governor of the autonomous Gagauzia region of Moldova Yevgenia Gutsul and parliamentary deputy Marina Tauber. Representatives of the Revival, Chance, Victorie, Alternative and Rescue Force of Moldova parties also take part in the event.
