Israeli air strikes kill over 30 Syrians near Aleppo — TV

Witnesses reported a number of powerful explosions following Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of Al-Neyrab International Airport near Jibrin

BEIRUT, March 29. /TASS/. As many as 33 people, including civilians, were killed in an Israeli air strike on military facilities near Aleppo in northern Syria, the Dubai-based Al Hadath television reported.

Weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah paramilitary units who are fighting for the Syrian Army were also attacked. The Lebanese Shia militant group sustained five casualties.

Witnesses reported a number of powerful explosions following Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of Al-Neyrab International Airport near Jibrin, southeast of Aleppo. No damage to the runway was reported.

Earlier, a Syrian defense official told the SANA news agency that the enemy struck ground-based targets at 1:45 a.m. local time (11:45 p.m. GMT on Thursday - TASS) from an area southeast of Aleppo. According to him, "the Israeli aggression caused a number of casualties among civilians and military personnel and material damage to state-owned and private property."
