MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Moscow resolutely condemns Vienna’s move to expel two Russian diplomats as it threatens retaliation in due time, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"The Austrian government declared two diplomats from the Russian embassy in Austria personae non gratae without any reasons. The Russian sides condemns this yet another unfriendly step, responsibility for the consequences of which lies entirely with the Austrian authorities," the ministry said, threatening to take retaliatory measures "in due time."

On Wednesday, Austria’s Foreign Ministry said that two diplomats of the Russian embassy had allegedly acted in a manner incompatible with their diplomatic status. Therefore, the Austrian Foreign Ministry ordered them to leave Austria by the end of March 19, without giving specific reasons for the expulsion.
