US Congress passes bill to ban enriched uranium imports from Russia

It now needs to be signed by US President Joe Biden

WASHINGTON, May 1. / TASS/. The US Senate on Tuesday unanimously approved a bill banning the import of enriched uranium from Russia, according to a webcast of the vote.

The bill was earlier endorsed by the House. It now needs to be signed by US President Joe Biden to become law. The White House has stated that it supports the bill.
