Singapore Airlines resumes flights to Moscow starting from January 20

Flights will be carried out on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

SINGAPORE, January 14. /TASS/. Singapore Airlines is resuming regular flights from Singapore to Moscow and back starting from January 20, a company representative told TASS Thursday.

"We can confirm that from January 2021, SIA reinstated services to Moscow," the company stressed. Particularly, flights will be carried out on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

"Passengers entering or transiting the Russian Federation must have a printed medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before arrival," the company representative added.

Singapore Airlines suspended Singapore-Moscow-Stockholm flight carried out five times a week on March 23, 2020. Simultaneously, the Singapore authorities shut down borders to foreigners except for those having long-term working and family visas. At the same time, the government later began gradually reopening borders with countries where COVID-19 infections are stable.
